Coordinate Chapter involvement with historical sites and other organizations, including but not limited to:
- Historic Burke Foundation (e.g. McDowell House)
- OVTA, “The Crossing”
- The Historic Carson House
- Fort Defiance
Help create programs that commemorate local Revolutionary War events (e.g. The Battle at Cane Creek)
Review the existence, persistence and accuracy of historical markers placed in public spaces and work to ensure the replacement of damaged, missing or inaccurate markers.
Support the public-facing efforts of SAR to encourage visibility of our Chapter.
Create or assist with the wordsmithing of printed or electronically distributed enduring materials or helping with news articles regarding the Chapter and SAR.
Assist with America 250th Committee
